fewer manufacturers, but more exclusivities at the Toronto Auto Show in 2024. Porsche will be the only German representative, promising a most refined exhibition.

The Cobble Beach Concours d'Elegance pays tribute to performance with 10 legendary sports cars from 1927 to the 1980s. The Exotica Auto Boutique brings together an exhibition of Autosrada Magazine, and luxury and exotic marques for the pleasure of the eyes.

It is an overview in 5 themes that is proposed to you.

The Toronto Auto Show is a showcase for the latest innovations, including:

 • Sedans, because there are always manufacturers who make them
 • Trucks, because electrification started on that side too
 • Increasingly popular SUVs with 3 sizes available
 • Spectacular prototypes and concept cars for an idea of the future
 • Exotic cars from the 80s to the present, because it’s fun to dream
 • Successful vintage and classic cars from the 1920s to the 1980s
 • Sports cars, more affordable than exotic cars
 • More and more electric vehicles

  THE CLASSIC AND EXOTIC PERFORMANCE

The Toronto Auto Show has earned a reputation for presenting a range of classic cars of competition caliber through the exhibition Cobble Beach Classics.

Auto Exotica, an exhibition space showcasing high-end and exotic cars through dealers in the Greater Toronto Area and Autostrada Magazine.

This year, there will be a tribute to Ferrari Classiche, a large Porsche exhibition space and a commemoration of the 50th anniversary of Grand Touring Automobile.

COBBLE BEACH CLASSICS - TRIBUTE TO PERFORMANCE

Ten years since the Cobble Beach Concours d'Elegance gave us stars! This year, the concours is paying tribute to the performance.

THE EXOTICA AUTO BOUTIQUE AND EXOTIC CAR BOOTHS

2024 was a good year for Auto Exotica, with several interesting themes.
 • Introducing the Rimac Nevera with its metallic green body
 • 50 years of Grand Touring Automobile with a rare Porsche Zagato 356
 • 2 Lamborghinis, including the new Revuelto, a plug-in hybrid supercar
 • Bugatti Chiron Pure Sport all black with metallic orange accents
 • Pininfarina Battista, world’s first electric hypercar
 • Autostrada Magazine’s selection with a trio of hybrid supercars
 • 5 exotic cars from 1999 to 2008
 • PFAFF and its 4 McLaren, including the McLaren 750S Spider and 720 GT3 EVO
 • PFAFF and its 3 Pagani, including the Pagani Zonda R Liquid, a stunning hypercar
 • Tribute to Ferrari Classiche in 5 historic Ferrari and 296 Challenge

Each of the themes mentioned above will be presented in series of 3 photos.

But it doesn’t stop there for Auto Exotica!

The manufacturers Alfa Romeo, Maserati, Rivan and Lotus with their all-new SUV Eletre had an exhibition space in the shop.

Here they are in pictures always divided into three photos per subject.

And to finish this section, Porsche occupied a large space in which the manufacturer put a lot of news.

A Porsche 911 Carrera S that set a record for climbing in altitude was featured on its mound.

The new Porsche models presented at the Toronto auto show:
 • Porsche Taycan 2025 North American Premiere
 • Porsche Panamera 2024, 3rd generation, North American premiere
 • Porsche GT3 RS, a creation of the Sunderwunsch customization studio

  PERFOMANT SPORTS CARS

Sports cars were also present at this Toronto show.

The models I have chosen are:
 • The all-new 2024 Mustang Dark Horse and its 3 petrol-trimmed sisters
 • Corvette E Ray with 2 sisters, the powerful Z06 and Stingray
 • Cadillac CT5 V Blackwing presented in World Premiere
 • 3 Toyota GR models as well as a sport truck
 • Lexus F Division in 5 models
 • Subaru WRX RS, the Sport version replacement

  PROTOTYPES AND CONCEPT CARS

Being in transition towards the electrification of vehicles, the manufacturers who had prototypes on display presented their vision of the future with rather elaborate concepts.

You will see the following models in order:
 • Porsche Vision Gran Tourismo presented for the first time at an auto show
 • INFINITY Vision Qe, a typical Japanese vision of a sedan
 • RAM 1500 Revolution, 100% electric, 100% revolutionary
 • Charge Daytona SRT, the future of American-style muscle performance

  ELECTRIC VEHICLES

Following the presentation of the prototypes in the previous section, a selection of electric vehicles that will have attracted the lens of my camera are presented here.

In
pictures order presentation :
  • Polstar with white floor space
  • BMW XM Label, the most powerful M-series model ever produced
  • Rivan in 2 models, pickup and SUV, and 2 sample boxes
  • HUMMER EV Omega Edition, a vehicle for those with their heads in the stars

  SOME AMBIANCE PICTURES

Finally, here are a few ambiance pictures of some aspects of the Toronto auto show that I found interesting or anecdotal.

The subjects of the photo series are:
 • The most surprising police vehicles of the show
 • Tuning cars from Greater Toronto enthusiasts
 • Barbie’s 1957 Corvette... a replica from a real Corvette

 • 3 of 4 life-size Hot Wheels vehicles, 3 because the 4th is ugly
