On July 6th, I had the feeling I was in the city of Torino, in Italy with this sun shinning like in the Alps, and the flags flying in that strong wind.
It was Montreal FIAT BREAKOUT in "Little Italy", a joint venture exhibit from both the Ottawa and Montreal Italian car clubs.
BEAUTIFUL TO PHOTOGRAPH
The Italians have always been my favourite cars to photograph, like the Mondial pictured to the left, which is one of the less desired Ferraris due to its simple design. Finding the right angle can help bring out its exotic beauty.
Ferraris, vintage and modern Fiats and Alfa Romeos, along with three French cars and two Germans from the VEA club, helped to further enhance the illusion of being in Northern Italy.
MUSIC AND GOOD FOOD
Italian music ruled over the streets, as well as a young accordionist! Desert fans such as myself also had the opportunity to savour the famous cannoli.
All in all, this was a great trip to Italy, minus the plane ticket. I invite you to look at my photos of the days experience of another car culture where design is king.
